VCG Cloud Services Business Unit Expansion

We are excited to announce the expansion of our Cloud Services Business Unit, driven by a talented new team.

This strategic move comes on the heels of a remarkable 170% increase in EBITDA compared to the previous year and underscores our renewed commitment to technology lifecycle services.

In line with this growth, our leadership team is doubling down on our Microsoft investments, bringing in additional expertise to elevate our service offerings. We are pleased to welcome three new specialists who will play pivotal roles in the next phase of this journey.

Meet Our New Team Members:

• Cat Bellingham, Microsoft Licensing Specialist: With two decades of experience selling the Microsoft stack, Cat’s deep knowledge will enhance our customer relations and strengthen our team’s expertise.
• Matt Fooks, Head of Microsoft Business & Cloud Services: Matt joined us at the end of August and brings extensive experience in Microsoft services, particularly in architecture and strategic implementation.
• Malcolm Plested, Pre-Sales Solutions Architect: Malcolm joined the team at the end of August, his technical acumen will bolster our pre-sales engagements and engineering solutions.

Cat, Matt, and Malcolm will collaborate closely with our existing team members, including Gareth Larter, Cloud Services Support Team Lead, and Andy Bates, Cloud & Infrastructure Consultant.

Gareth joined VCG in June 2023 and specialises in Exchange and Modern Workplace. He has been expanding his expertise in Azure Infrastructure solutions.

Andy is a VCG veteran with over 12 years at the company and more than 20 years in IT Infrastructure, has a proven track record in designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions utilising technologies from Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, HPE Nimble, and Veeam.

This team expansion aligns with our growth strategy for the consolidated Cloud Services Business Unit and directly addresses the evolving needs of our customers as they advance on their cloud maturity journeys.
