Sales Development Representative

VCG is a leading provider of advanced connectivity and network infrastructure solutions, helping businesses stay agile, secure, and connected in a digital-first world. As we expand our footprint, we’re looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to contact customers and open new doors in the B2B market.

Role Overview:

  • Deliver a continuous pipeline of new leads through various prospecting means, including networking, cold calling, and events.
  • Directly contact company decision-makers, engage with them, build rapport to enable free-flowing conversation and arrange appointments for our sales team.
  • Promote VCG with the ultimate aim of converting prospects into accounts.

Person Requirements: 

  • Strong technical understanding and knowledge of managed services and connectivity,
  • You will have a results-oriented mindset,
  • Great communication skills,
  • Strong understanding of the sales process,
  • Prior sales experience (B2B)

This position is a fantastic opportunity for someone sales-orientated and self-motivated, with lots of energy and a ‘go-getter’ attitude. As you’ll be socially networking with potential customers, you must be an excellent listener and communicator and have good organisation, administration, and relationship building skills.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Contact businesses to promote VCG’s products and services
  • Maintain and update the CRM
  • Convert enquiries into appointments
  • Schedule appointments for BDM’s and BDD’s
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our company values and USPs to articulate our services persuasively.
